There is a song that a famous man named Kenny wrote about gambling. I keep hearing that song. The words "You've Got To Know" stand out.
"You have to know which prophetic words are spirit breathed and hold onto that which is true, know when to fold the one's that are of the flesh, vain imaginations, and false prophecies, know when to walk through the seasons waiting upon the Aces to come to pass, and know when to run with a prophetic word, that God has breathed upon in the season that God has purposed it to come to pass". Otherwise while the river of God is going one way, you might find yourself going the opposite way.
It's also not wise to fold a prophetic word that is spirit breathed just because man's plans are already set. One might miss an entire season of favor and being a part of what God desires to do.
Kinda like going around the same mountain when the promise land is right before you.
